As your playing develops, progress increasingly depends on refined technique, attentive listening, musical understanding and interpretative confidence.

I offer individual classical piano lessons for developing and experienced pianists in Stamford, Rutland and the surrounding areas, with an approach tailored to each student's abilities, interests and musical ambitions.

  • Students preparing for examinations, auditions, concerts or other performances.

  • Adult pianists returning to the instrument and musicians seeking artistic development beyond examination syllabuses.

Arrange a Trial Lesson

Lessons are available in Essendine, near Stamford and Rutland, with home visits available in selected nearby locations by arrangement.

For intermediate and advanced pianists, I generally recommend 60-minute lessons, allowing time for technical work, repertoire and detailed musical discussion.
